  1. Log into Zendesk Admin Center → Apps and integrations → Zendesk API
  2. Click "Settings" tab → Enable Token Access
  3. Click "Add API Token" → Copy the token (shown only once!)
  4. Your Subdomain is the part before .zendesk.com in your URL (e.g., if your Zendesk is at mycompany.zendesk.com, the subdomain is mycompany)
  5. Email is the admin email associated with the API token
  6. Alternative: OAuth Token — If using OAuth 2.0, create an OAuth client in Admin Center → Apps and integrations → APIs → OAuth Clients → Add OAuth Client
  7. Use EITHER API Token OR OAuth Token, not both
  8. Test connection to verify everything works
