  1. Log into your SolarWinds Orion server
  2. Use an existing admin account or create a dedicated API user
  3. Your Server URL follows the format: https://<hostname>:17778/SolarWinds/InformationService/v3/Json
  4. Test the connection to verify node and alert data access
