- Log into Zendesk Admin Center → Apps and integrations → Zendesk API
- Click "Settings" tab → Enable Token Access
- Click "Add API Token" → Copy the token (shown only once!)
- Your Subdomain is the part before
.zendesk.comin your URL (e.g., if your Zendesk is atmycompany.zendesk.com, the subdomain ismycompany) - Email is the admin email associated with the API token
- Alternative: OAuth Token — If using OAuth 2.0, create an OAuth client in Admin Center → Apps and integrations → APIs → OAuth Clients → Add OAuth Client
- Use EITHER API Token OR OAuth Token, not both
- Test connection to verify everything works
